Top Five Walter Tevis Books
(Tevis wrote seven books in his lifetime. Though his lone story collection, Far From Home, is missing roughly a dozen of his magazine publications, his papers, I’m told, won’t be revealing any other neglected manuscripts. No matter how slim his bibliography, he’s an immensely important writer to me. Here are my top five, in order of preference.)
