Ten Favorite Tracey Walter Movies

(A prolific character actor and “that guy,” whose face you would almost certainly recognize. I first noticed him as “Frog Rothchild, Jr.” in the all-but-forgotten 1981-1982 sitcom Best of the West. These are my ten favorite movies in which he’s appeared, often in bit parts but excluding his uncredited work, in order of preference.)

  1. Annie Hall (directed by Woody Allen, 1977)

  2. Matilda (directed by Danny DeVito, 1996)

  3. Rumble Fish (directed by Francis Ford Coppola, 1983)

  4. Repo Man (directed by Alex Cox, 1984)

  5. Midnight Run (directed by Martin Brest, 1988)

  6. Erin Brockovich (directed by Steven Soderbergh, 2000)

  7. Something Wild (directed by Jonathan Demme, 1986)

  8. The Silence of the Lambs (directed by Jonathan Demme, 1991)

  9. Batman (directed by Tim Burton, 1989)
