(Martin Dupont are a French minimalist synth pop band whose songs are seasoned with guitar and clarinet and sung by both male and female vocalists. They were active in the 1980s, then dormant, but have recently reformed after a long recording gap. For a sense of what they sound like, I recommend listening to this episode of the “Every Album Ever” podcast. I’ve arranged the ten songs below—which are drawn almost exclusively from their two best albums, Just Because… and Hot Paradox—in order of personal preference.)
