Ten Björks
(In the 1990s, each of Björk’s albums achieved a stranger and more impressive pinnacle than the one before, so it was only natural that she would inspire many new Björks, just as Radiohead went on to inspire many new Radioheads, and Nirvana (alas) many new Nirvanas. Because I regard Björk’s avant-garde mutant dance pop quite highly, I regard many of the artists who owe her a debt quite highly, too. Here, then, are ten of my favorite Björks Björk inspired.)
