2024 marks the twenty-first Six Bridges Book Festival (formerly the Arkansas Literary Festival) and also my twenty-first appearance on the roster. This year, I’ll be inaugurating the week with a solo event at the Ron Robinson Theater, where I’ll be reading an essay about animals and literature from a collection of essays-in-progress, then chatting with the estimable Steve Straessle, taking questions from the audience, and signing books.
